Built in 1954 this well-maintained home has many original features, including etched-glass doors, myrtle skirting boards, plaster fireplaces, tasmanian oak flooring, spiral staircase and ceiling rose in dining room.
This home is 220 sq metres of character. The distinctive decor is reminiscent of the 50’s and lends itself to period furniture or more contemporary pieces.

All this is just over the road to not one, but two beaches, Park Beach and Blue Lagoon. Our children grew up drinking seawater and eating sand, and for the more mature adults there is a cafe next door.
There is also a bus stop from which one is able to get to town. The nearby local shopping complex includes a butcher, baker, newsagent, chemist, doctor and general store. There is also a local pub and new primary school.
This unique home was featured in the March 2000 edition of Home Beautiful and the owners have enjoyed living here over the years but due to family commitments need to move to Hobart.
