Michael Kriezinger von Donnensetten finds
inspiration where he works — the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery,
Hobart.
Michael writes: “I was born in what is today Zimbabwe,
of Dutch-German descent. As children we had to eat in the kitchen with
the servants. Out of this childhood was born my love of food and kitchens.
I wrote an African cookbook, a collection of stories and recipes with African
animals like zebra and hippopotamus. I’ve had my eye on a few local
animals but there’s no way I’d
like to hurt any of them.”
