David writes: “I became a waiter by accident. A friend asked me to help out on a Christmas function. I remember my first reaction was ‘I’m not going to wait on the public,’ but I remember the first tray of drinks I held felt so natural you’d think I was born to it. One thing led to another...I’m often a bit audacious but I have the experience to get away with it!”
